A very rare USED 1.25" 1/14" SU Carburettor, discovered in our Eden Barn this is a carburettor from the era between 1939 and 1953 it has a Brass Piston suggesting that it is from around the war era. It has its original air inlet plenum/manifold, it comes with choke linkages and fuel bowl stamped 1216 mcl with float lid stamped 1218 /1 the mazak alloy body is stamped 3229. The piston moves freely as does the choke mechanism.  This carburettor came from either a Riley RMA or Riley RME, but suits many other makes and models eg: MG, Morris, Austin etc. Please see photo(s) - they form part of the description.
